Happy New Year Everybody!
Some of you that have known me or received our emails for awhile know there are two times of the year I get really selfish with my time for about 10 days.
It’s not a new thing, actually, but every year around my birthday I usually take time for myself and friends, as there are several of us long time friends that have birthdays from the end of June thru the 4th of July holiday.
And the ‘other’ time I get stingy and selfish with my time?
…those 10 days surrounding the Christmas/New Year holidays.

In A Hurry? You Might Need This…

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always alerted those around me or those I’m working with that I intend to get “stingy with my time” surrounding that 10 day period.
It’s not only an opportunity to spend some quality time with friends (and away from the computer), but also a time for me to reflect on the goals I set at the beginning of each year and gage where I am as I click off yet another year after that 39th birthday.
I enjoy spending time reviewing the things I’ve yet to do and contemplating what can be done and what I desire to accomplish as I approach each fresh new year.
I’ve told the story several times of how writing things down and putting them away, only to come back and see that unconsciously, (and miraculously) you’ve done exactly whatyou wrote that you wanted to accomplish.
I’m not a psychologist guru, nor do I know HOW it works?
I just know IT WORKS!

So, if you haven’t spent some quality time with yourself this holiday season to contemplate what could be, it’s never too late.
If you haven’t already, download my updated copy of “FOCUS 2009 - Changing Your Mind” and pick up some great tips.
http://launchalerts.com/likes/Focus2009
Before time gets away from you, take a sheet of paper and sit quietly with yourself…do a little dreaming.
Think of things you’ve either wanted or want to see happen in the year ahead, and write down each thought as it comes.
Once finished, prioritize your list. What is REALLY the most important to you goes at the top, and so forth.
Don’t be afraid to dream, because your subconscious doesn’t know it’s just a dream to you, and goes to work almost immediately to move toward each goal and item you have on your list.
Hone it and apply it to a 3 x 5 card you can stick away, yet keep close enough to view occasionally just to give your subconscious a little booster shot.
If you’ve ever done this exercise, you know it works, and if you’re one of the skepticals? I challenge you to try it, just once…and see what it does for you at the end of the year.
Yes, my “stingy time” is almost up here, and time for all vacations to come to an end and move on into this new year that I know will be filled with many changes ahead as we deal with the economy and for the USA, a new incoming President.
But it is also a time of anticipation and an opportunity to do those things previously put off or make changes you’ve wanted to make.
No matter where you are as we enter 2009, you have the power within you to change your circumstances, conquer fears that have held you back, and seek out and surround yourself with those that encourage you.
One of my revived goals for the year is to post more on my own personal blog (now that I think it is finally FIXED
Many of you know I CAN get a little winded at times, so to spare the email readers, I’ll try to put those on the blog instead.
So, drop in. As with everything, we are still tweaking, but welcome the company.
My own goals are lofty (as usual) but that always leaves room for me to hit on several, even though some of them may fall through the cracks.
We have a lot of things on the drawing board here and as the year progresses, you’ll find that we are segmenting our business more and focusing on the areas we feel can help the most.
Our “Wacky” brand continues as the “Wacky Gals” have got some goodies up our sleeves…but we’re also working to make things easier for you as well, and of course, hope to continue to bring you what you need in 2009.
Don’t hesitate to drop us a note, send us a testimonial with your website link, or just shake a finger at us if you feel it necessary. We enjoy hearing from you all.
Stay tuned as we release new products and ‘helpers’ this year, as well as finish many things we weren’t able to complete last year.
It was a holiday weekend, but Wacky Weekend Sale still made it’s appearance with it’s weekly goodies, so be sure to check in and grab what you need…always at unbelieveable prices or just plain F’RE’E:

Hello Everybody!
No doubt about it “tis the season” for all the “normal” holiday dazzles, frazzels, hassles, and hurrieds.
Except our friends in WARM climate areas right now, our hearts go out to all of you “weathering the storms” of all shapes and sizes around the globe, be it weather or personal challenges.
As the year winds down here, no doubt we still have a few days to get those last minute gifts, visit that long lost friend in town or experience the joys and triumps of time with our families.
As a parentless adult, mother to one, our immediate family is quite small. Nonetheless, we most normally spend our holiday time together with our traditional day of “movie hopping,” catching up - buttered popcorn and all!
So many times I write on behalf of “the gang” here because as I’ve said for some time now…”it takes a village to
raise an Internet Business these days.”
At this time I just want to personally say thanks to each and every one of you, and wish you all the very best for a safe and happy holiday season with the coming trek into the New Year ahead.
If you’re like most of us, your emails are fraught with gifts and bargains galore and it’s not over yet - then comes the year end flurry as we all fall head first into a New Year.
Life goes on for most of us and we still have a lot under our own personal control; our futures and the outlook we
take on things for ourselves will be the difference between the “haves and have nots,” the “done and done nots,” and those that are still trying to figure it all out.

Some of you may remember my “FOCUS” ebook last year about this time, but if you missed it, you’ll be in for a treat.
I pulled it out, dusted it off, and saw where “experience and wisdom” could be infused to bring it up to our new year and the challenging times ahead for us all.
One thing about getting older, either you’ve crossed the “wacky” threshold, thought to be teetering on the edge of
insanity, or you’re able to impart little nuggets of wisdom into things that actually make sense and when taken into
serious consideration, can actually become the beacon needed in the middle of those seemingly long stormy nights.
I’m not only here to wish you guys a happy holiday, but to also offer up a heartfelt apology for not getting done all
the things I wanted to.
But, Why would I apologize to you?
Well, because I’m so old (and proud of it, btw), I’ve still managed to learn a whole lot more this year, and feel I haven’t “done my job” as well as I would have liked.
We are also ending the year in uncharted waters, and while things may not have been “this bad” (seemingly, everywhere) before, it takes someone that’s weathered the storms to keep the rudder straight and on course, sooo…
…I’ve hired 4 strong, muscular men in loin cloths to do that for me.
Ok, JUST KIDDING, but the point I’m trying to make is this, don’t throw this baby out with the bath water just yet.
While I may be physically challenged and somewhat slow, I’m undetered, not without hope and some of that all important WISDOM to impart, share, exhange, laugh over and solve the Internet world’s business problems with.
I’ll be wrapping up this insighful report just in time tobe under the tree for the traditional “gift giving” time in a few days.
IN THE MEANTIME, jump on over to check out LaunchAlerts.com.
Heck, put your plastic away, we’re still “under construction” as always there (it’s a process), but we’ve moved it to a friendlier blog format, and will be adding to it almost daily to get back up to speed.
Those of you on the “LA” list know, I hardly ever bug you, but we will be imparting reminders here and there, OR you can subscribe to the RSS feed for updates OR we will have other methods of letting you know when great hot products are coming down the pike.
Not everything will make the cut, so we welcome any and all feedback, for sure and if you have a desire to review
products or can offer up reviews, please let us know. Not yet added, but an important business tool just launched:
